It has got a
very well known bactericidal property. Hence for centuries, people
have been using neem products for all occasions where purification is
considered. The leaves and shoots are used for taking bath by boiling
water with them. Especially infants are given the neem bath for
avoiding skin deceases. The seeds are expelled to get oil ( a bitter
oil with pungent odour) is used for oil bath and in several
preparations of ointments and soaps. The dry leaves when burnt produce
a bitter smoke that drives away mosquitoes and similar insects. The
medicinal extracts (KADHA) is taken for blood purification.
In cosmetic preparations & soaps it acts as antibacterial agent and
for protecting skin from germs. We make the Neem extract (for cosmetic
purpose only, not for oral consumption) that keeps the skin protected
to a large extent from germs & bacterial infections. The bitter
ingredients present in Neem are Margosine, Nimbidin, Nimbin,
Nimbosterol and tannin. Neem also contains sulphur and a salt sodium
margosate. All the above ingredients are responsible for the
antibacterial and skin protecting properties. It is used in making
preparations for healing wounds and in bath preparations for skin
epidemic deceases like small pox and chicken pox eczema ointments.
TULSI EXTRACT FOR COSMETIC PURPOSE
Tulsi (OCIMUM SANCTUM) is found in all moderately warm parts of India,
and found in almost all Hindu homes because of its holy sentiments.
Tulsi has enormous types a few are very common & famous for their
properties. The most important properties of tulsi preparation are
cooling, cough simulating, deodorant anti bacterial and digestive
nature. It also has good effects over aging skin, due to its
rejeueniling property. It is used many preparations to combat the
incurable deceases like cancer. Tulsi contains one unique chemical
called as "Ursolic acid" with acts as antioxidant in body to take care
of free radicals produced inside, which acts as refresher in
convalescent period. It also activates the kidneys to produce urine
and hence "clean" the body. The plant has got 300 verities. Tulsi
plants produce OZONE .
Our tulsi extract is meant for cosmetic use (not for oral use) and it
acts on body for its protection and also for generating new skin
cells.
ORANGE PEEL EXTRACT AND LEMON PEEL EXTRACT
Lemon & Orange are fruits of citrus family of plants which are known
for their source as vitamin C. The peels of these fruits are having
all the essential oil in very high concentration whereas the juice of
lemon lime is digestive and acts on Kaph, Vat & Pitta as stated in
ayurved medicines, the peel extracts are useful on skin protections,
cleaning and cleansing and fresh feel. Lemon (Citrus medica var. acida)
is commonly available in all parts of country. The orange peel (Citrus
Reticulata Blanco) also has properties like lemon lime but peel
extract is much more stronger in skin repairing properties and in
freshening, property because of its Limonene oil content. It is very
highly fragrant due to orange oil.
